TAIWAY is committed to providing environmentally
friendly products to our customers. It is our ultimate goal to eliminate
all hazardous substances as below in order to comply with the Directive of
RoHS (2002/95/EC)
Lead (Pb), Cadmium (Cd), Mercury (Hg),
Chromium VI (Cr6+), PBDEs and PBBs
However, if present at all, to our best of
knowledge, the composition level of above chemicals in our products comply
with regulated maximum limits: a maximum concentration value of 0.1% by
weight in homogeneous materials for Pb, Hg, Cr6+, PBDEs, PBBs and of 0.01%
by weight in homogeneous materials for Cd.
While the conversion is in process, most of
TAIWAY switches are applicable to RoHS exemptions. A report of RoHS status
or certificate of RoHS compliance for specific part numbers can be issued
upon written request. Please note, as all our parts will become RoHS ready
before the effective date of RoHS (Jul 1st 2006), so no new part number
will be given.
Before RoHS takes place, both RoHS compliant
and pre-version products can be shipped. If you require RoHS compliant
part, please state RoHS Part on your purchase orders.
