Altmann
have been developing and producing precision potentiometers and sensors for
path, angle and position detection for industrial applications for 40 years.

Altmann
are specialists in the area of precision potentiometers for path, angle and
position detection for industrial applications.
Since approx. 2002 Altmann are increasingly engaged with contactless sensors
for translatory and rotary movements.
Furthermore the production program me has been extended to include so-called
Panel Potentiometer (set-point devices). Contrary to similar potentiometers,
these are manufactured in a high grade aluminum die cast-housing and with a
robust metal shaft.
Altmann offer products for individual
industrial requirements, potentiometric, and contactless, with Hall- or
inductive technology as well as high grade set-point devices.
The
specialty is the modular construction system. In principle every individually
produced article is a standard. Two fabrication lines make it possible.
The prototype construction is
construed in such a way that also small series as from 1 piece can be
produced as standard or individually and quickly at low costs.
The series production is
focused on series as from approx. 500 pieces per type.
