Potentiometers Pvt. Ltd has traversed a long way to reach its present position as an
industrial household name in the field of potentiometers. The inspiration
behind the journey was derived from a visionary Mr. N. T. Kinariwala in 1959. His entrepreneurial spirit guided
him in setting up a small workshop manufacturing Single Turn Wire Wound
Potentiometers under the brand name Pankaj. His work area was 10 sq.
meters & asset was a never satiable yen to win.
Indian
industry was in its nuptial stage & was largely depending on imports.
That was the time
Mr. Kinariwala rolled out his first
indigenously designed &
manufactured Potentiometer of global standards at local price. The concept
caught up and the brand Pankaj became synonymous to potentiometers. Thenceforth he did not look back.

Soon
the mantle fell on the shoulder of the second generation. In pursuit of
excellence, the young blood at the helm infused professionalism into
business. State-of-the-art machinery got installed. Instilled qualified
technocrats. Infused a sense of participation. As a result, the growth was
unprecedented and phenomenal.
Thanks
to their commitment, Pankaj enjoys the market leadership with share of 75
to 80%. Besides, Pankaj products have crossed the national boundaries and
its customer base in Europe, USA, Australia and South Africa is on the rise
year after year.
