1991

AB Elektronik GmbH acquires a part of the former "Sächsischen Elektronikwerke Klingenberg" (former: Elektronische Bauelemente Dorfhain).

The plant Sachsen of AB Elektronik GmbH, Werne/ Westfalen with the holding company AB Electronic Products Group PLC is establishing.

The production range contains:

· · Cable assemblies

· · Cermet potentiometers

· · Wirewound potentiometers

· · Carbon film potentiometers

Production and office area: 3.160m²

Employees: 115 persons

1993

The holding company AB Electronic Products Group PLC is acquired by the
TT Group PLC.

· · Starting development of temperature sensors

· · Entrance into the automotive industry with deliveries of fader

· · The annual turnover is about ca. 12,5 Mio. DM.

· · Employees: 164 persons

1995

The plant Sachsen is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 by TÜV Rheinland.

· · Start of series deliveries for the automotive industry

· · Production of conductive plastic potentiometers for ventilation systems

· · Series production of beam level controller and dimmer

1997

The plant Sachsen moves into a new production and administration facility with 5.500 m area.²

The former plant Sachsen of AB Elektronik GmbH, Werne is changed into the self reliant AB Elektronik Sachsen GmbH.

· · Starting development of pressure sensors

· · Production of fuel level sensor elements

1999

AB Sachsen is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001, QS9000 and VDA 6.1 by the TÜV Rheinland.

Production start of pressure sensors for automotive and truck application

2001

In the meantime turnover has been increased to more than 19 Mio. Euro at 225 employees. AB Sachsen is certified by the TÜV Rheinland according to ISO TS 16949.

· · Series deliveries of pressure sensors for trucks and for ABS systems in motor bikes

· · The turnover share for the automotive industry is more than 60%.
